Bruichladdich Black Art Edition 11.1 is a limited edition 24-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, Scotland. This enigmatic expression is crafted from pre-renaissance casks distilled before 2001 and aged entirely on Islay for over two decades. Unlike traditional Islay whiskies known for intense peat, Black Art takes a different path—unpeated, mysterious, and complex. The exact composition of its cask aging process remains a closely guarded secret known only to Head Distiller Adam Hannett.

The whisky delivers an intricate layered experience with notes of dark chocolate, ripe plum, black cherry, and dried fruits like raisins and figs. As it evolves on the palate, hints of toasted oak, vanilla, honey, and warm spices including cinnamon and clove emerge. The nose greets you with rich notes of dark berries, stewed prunes, candied orange peel, oak, and antique leather, followed by delicate floral tones of rose petals and honeysuckle.

Bottled at natural cask strength of 44.2% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and free from artificial coloring, preserving the spirit's authentic character. The silky, rich finish lingers with notes of cocoa, dark caramel, and roasted nuts. This is a limited edition 2023 release presented in a distinctive matte black bottle with gold accents and matching cylindrical gift tube.
