O'Shaughnessy Estate Winery Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is a premium red wine crafted at 1,800 feet elevation on the Howell Mountain appellation. Founded in 1996, the winery produced its first commercial vintage in 2000 and sources grapes from 18 different varieties across four unique vineyard locations within Napa Valley.

This classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon displays an opaque purple color with perfumed aromas of blackberry compote, orange blossom, cassis, creme brulee, and cocoa. The wine is a blend of approximately 91% Cabernet Sauvignon with small additions of Malbec, St. Macaire, Merlot, Gros Verdot, Carmenere, and Cabernet Franc. On the palate, it is plush and concentrated with well-integrated tannins and a vibrant finish.

Tasting notes reveal flavors of red cherry, blackberry, black plum, vanilla, oak, tobacco, and star anise with hints of leather and earthiness. The wine is full-bodied at 14.6-14.8% ABV with beautiful seamless tannins and a velvety smooth texture ending in an elegant lingering finish. Contains sulfites. Pairs excellently with beef, lamb, poultry, game meats, and mature hard cheeses.
