Marchelle 4th Act Pinot Noir is an elegantly crafted California red wine sourced primarily from the Huichica Creek Vineyard in the Carneros appellation of Napa Valley, with select single barrels blended in from Manchester Ridge and van der Kamp Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. Winemaker Greg La Follette brings extensive expertise to this bottling, employing indigenous yeast fermentation in open-top tanks with 10% whole cluster inclusion, then pressing and racking to barrel before fermentation is complete. The wine is aged for 17 months in barrel with 25% new French oak, resulting in a beautifully integrated structure.

In the glass, the wine presents intense purple-red hues with a moderate depth of color. Aromas of bright berry, earth, and sandalwood lead to a palate defined by an excellent backbone of acidity and finely sculpted tannins. The finish is long and complex. Rated 93 points by Wine Enthusiast. 14.1% ABV, with residual sugar below 0.01 g/L. Production is limited to approximately 1,478 cases.
