Mario Tennis Fever is a multiplayer sports game for Nintendo Switch 2, released on February 12, 2026 as part of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebration. Join Mario and friends for over-the-top tennis action featuring topspins, slices, lobs, and defensive maneuvers to outpace opponents on the court.

Build up your Fever Gauge during rallies and unleash powerful Fever Shots augmented with special effects by equipping Fever Rackets. Choose from 30 different Fever Rackets including Flame (scatters flames), Ice (creates slippery ice sheets), Lightning (stuns opponents), Ty-Foo (creates twisters), and Mud (reduces ball bounce). Mix and match rackets with 38 playable characters across six types: All-Around, Defensive, Powerful, Speedy, Technical, and Tricky.

Adventure mode features a story where Mario and friends encounter monsters on a remote island and transform into babies, requiring them to relearn tennis skills and defeat monsters to return to normal. Additional modes include Tournament with play-by-play commentary from a Talking Flower, Trial Towers with various challenges, Mix It Up matches with Wonder Effects, and Free Play with customizable rules. Online modes support Ranked Matches for competitive singles or doubles, and Online Rooms for casual play with friends. Local multiplayer supports up to four players via local wireless, and GameShare allows one player to share the game with up to three nearby friends on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch systems.
