Marc Hébrart Rosé Brut is a Premier Cru non-vintage Champagne from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ in the Vallée de la Marne, France. Produced by the acclaimed grower-producer Marc Hébrart, this rosé Champagne is crafted using practicing organic viticulture and sourced entirely from Premier Cru vineyards in the village.
The blend is composed of equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with approximately 6% red wine aged in oak barrique incorporated to achieve its signature pale salmon-pink hue. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel, with the base Chardonnay drawing from the 2022 vintage and Pinot Noir from 2019–2020 reserve vintages. It undergoes full malolactic fermentation and is aged a minimum of 24 months on the lees before disgorgement, with a dosage of approximately 6.5g/L.
On the nose, it offers aromas of rose petals, peony, fresh strawberries, and citrus. The palate is moderately weighted and bright with flavors of raspberry, poached apricot, tangerine peel, and biscuit, underpinned by the chalky minerality characteristic of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. The mousse is fine and pinpoint, and the finish is long, precise, and refreshing.
This wine has received scores of 92 from Wine Advocate, 92 from Wine Spectator, and 92 from Vinous. It is sold in cases of 12 x 750ml. Alcohol: 12%.
