Valravn Chardonnay is a California white wine from Sonoma County, sourced from cold-climate vineyards in the Sonoma Coast's Petaluma Wind Gap area and barrel-fermented Russian River components. The Sonoma Coast fruit delivers a vibrant core of minerality with notes of ripe peach, apple, and a touch of citrus, while the Russian River component contributes richer flavors of toasted hazelnuts, marzipan, and ripe pineapple.

On the nose, the wine offers spiced pears, baked apples, and warm vanilla, leading into flavors of apples, lemon custard, and baking spices on the palate. It is medium-bodied with a finish that shows present wood tannins from barrel aging. The wine skillfully walks the line between high-toned freshness and the more powerful qualities of barrel-fermented Chardonnay.
