Kaiyo PX The Sheri is a premium Japanese single malt whisky crafted from 100% malted barley spirit produced entirely in Japan. The "PX" designation refers to its finishing in 2nd-fill Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry casks, following maturation in 1st-fill Oloroso sherry casks and Japanese Mizunara oak barrels. Mizunara oak is a rare and prized Japanese cooperage wood known for imparting distinctive sandalwood, coconut, and oriental spice characteristics found in no other whisky style.

The nose and palate offer layers of strawberry, sherry, fig, prune, and nuts, enriched with fragrant spices, millionaire's shortbread, and vanilla tablet, finishing with notes of sherry, fig, and pepper. This expression is considered the master blender's finest work across his 15-year career and was awarded Best Japanese Whisky (non-age statement) at the IWS 2020. Only approximately 450 cases were released worldwide, making this a highly collectible and rare bottling.
