Château Rocher Gardat is a classic red Bordeaux blend from the Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation, produced by the Moze-Berthon family whose estate has been in continuous operation since 1880. The vineyards sit above centuries-old quarries, with the stones from those quarries having been used to build wine cellars throughout the neighboring châteaux. The terroir of Montagne-Saint-Émilion brings finesse and natural maturity to the fruit, while the estate's small yields contribute to exceptional concentration.

The blend is composed of approximately 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, harvested by hand and vinified in barrel according to traditional Bordeaux methods. The wine is then aged for 12 months in new oak barrels. On the nose it offers toasty oak along with plum, blackberry, and mild spice. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh, with a silky texture and a slight sour cherry tartness on the finish. The 2022 vintage earned a 92-point rating from Wine Enthusiast. Alcohol content is approximately 12.5–14%. Contains sulfites. Pairs well with beef, lamb, poultry, and game.
