Akkeshi Shosetsu "The Greeting of Snow" is a Japanese blended whisky from Akkeshi Distillery, located in Akkeshi, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the 13th release in Akkeshi's 24 Sekki series, a collection inspired by the micro-seasons of the Japanese solar calendar. Shosetsu represents the period from November 22 to December 6, symbolizing the quiet arrival of winter.

The whisky is a blend of Akkeshi single malt and grain whiskies, with some barley lightly peated. The malt component is matured primarily in Hokkaido mizunara casks, complemented by ex-bourbon, sherry, and red wine cask maturation. Bottled at 48% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and carries a minimum age of three years. Akkeshi Distillery was founded in 2016 and uses copper pot stills imported from Scotland alongside locally sourced peat, producing whiskies that reflect both Islay tradition and Japanese craftsmanship.

The nose offers candied lemons, pickled ume, and sweet grains. The palate brings bright bitter orange peel and smoky cedar, while the finish delivers a complex balance of lemon peel and rich vanilla cream.
