Port Charlotte 18 Year Old is the oldest expression of Port Charlotte Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky released to date, crafted at the Bruichladdich Distillery on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. Heavily peated at 40 parts per million (PPM), this limited release of 6,000 bottles represents a landmark achievement in the distillery's Port Charlotte range.

Matured for 18 years in a combination of 74% refill sherry casks and 26% refill French oak wine casks, the extended aging has produced a remarkably complex and layered single malt. Bottled at 52.3% ABV, it delivers the full depth of Islay character with the softening influence of two decades of careful cask maturation.

On the nose, the whisky opens with dried fruit, figs, sweet sultanas, and raisins, followed by gentle waves of soft peat smoke and mellow oak. The palate continues this interplay between rich sweetness and signature Islay smoke, with the long cask maturation adding depth and integration rarely found at this phenol level.
