This single-vineyard wine is sourced from Flora Springs' Out of Sight Vineyard, an organically farmed site situated on an oak-laden hillside near the Coombsville AVA along the Silverado Trail. The gravelly loam soils and cool microclimate produce small berries with a high skin-to-pulp ratio, resulting in deep color and rich black fruit flavors.

The wine is known for its lush, round tannins that make it immediately approachable while also providing excellent aging potential of five to fifteen years. Tasting notes include dark fruits, blue fruit, violets, and black currants on the nose, with silky tannins, good acidity, and a long finish on the palate.
