Luigi Vico Barolo is a classically styled Italian red wine from the prestigious Barolo DOCG appellation in Piedmont's Serralunga d'Alba. The Vico family has farmed small plots in the Barolo DOCG since the early 1900s, and Luigi revived the estate's winemaking legacy beginning with his first release in 2016. The wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes grown on organic-certified vineyards including the historic Meriame site, a west-facing vineyard purchased by the family in 1920.

Vico follows traditional Barolo methodology: de-stemmed fruit from old-vine Nebbiolo undergoes extended maceration, then ages in large Slavonian oak vessels before bottling. The result is a deep garnet wine with aromas of black and red raspberries, dried cherry, cranberry, blood orange, leather, wild herbs, and the signature "tar and roses" character of great Barolo. Full-bodied with firm, structured tannins, this wine rewards patience and can be cellared well into the 2040s. It is best enjoyed at 60–65°F in Burgundy-style stems and pairs beautifully with braised meats such as Brasato al Barolo.
