Domaine Jean-Baptiste Jessiaume Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a classic Burgundy red wine produced by the Jessiaume family, who have been rooted in Santenay in the Côte de Beaune since 1830. This 750ML bottle showcases the elegance of Burgundy's premier grape variety, Pinot Noir, sourced from the family's estate vineyards.
The wine displays a bright ruby color with aromas of fresh red fruits — cherry and raspberry — complemented by a delicate hint of violet. On the palate it is elegant and well-balanced, with fine tannins and a lively acidity that pleasantly extends the finish. After sorting in the vineyard and winery, the grapes are de-stemmed and placed directly into tank for spontaneous fermentation lasting roughly three weeks. The wine is then transferred by gravity into oak barrels (no new oak) for 10 months of aging with no fining. The result is a refined, terroir-driven Burgundy ready to enjoy now or cellared for 3–5 years.
