Prelude by Clos Apalta is a Chilean red blend crafted in the renowned Apalta Valley, a prestigious wine-growing region in the Colchagua Valley of Chile. Produced by the celebrated Clos Apalta winery, this wine is an approachable expression of the estate's signature Bordeaux-style blending philosophy.

The blend is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Carménère — a grape variety native to Bordeaux that has found an exceptional home in Chile. The wine reflects the Chilean Bordeaux Blend style, offering structure, body, and tannins with a uniquely Chilean character imparted by the Carménère component. It carries a 4.1 rating on Vivino and pairs beautifully with beef, veal, poultry, and pasta dishes.
