Clos du Val Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic Napa Valley red wine from one of California's most storied estates. Founded in 1972 in the Stags Leap District, Clos du Val gained international recognition at the famed 1976 Judgment of Paris, where its Cabernet Sauvignon competed against the finest Bordeaux wines in the world.

This Reserve expression is a Bordeaux-style blend anchored by Cabernet Sauvignon, rounded out with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. The wine is aged approximately 19 months in a combination of new French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels, imparting structure and complexity. On the palate, it delivers aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, black raspberry, dark chocolate, and cassis, with fresh acidity, supple tannins, and a long, smooth finish. The estate draws fruit from two vineyards in the Stags Leap District and Yountville appellations of Napa Valley.
