Protos Verdejo Reserva is a white wine from Bodegas Protos, crafted from 100% Verdejo grapes grown in the Rueda DO of Castilla y León, Spain. The vineyards are over 25 years old and cultivated on dry land, with grapes harvested manually in 20kg crates.

The wine undergoes cold film maceration followed by fermentation in French oak barrels — half new, half one year old. It then ages on its lees in those same barrels for approximately 6 months, followed by one year in bottle, for a total aging period of roughly 18 months. This extended process develops a deep yellow straw color and a complex aromatic profile balancing tropical and citrus fruit with toasted vanilla and pastry notes.

On the palate it is dry, unctuous, and full-bodied with great volume and structure, yet remains fresh due to its bright acidity. The finish is long, expressive, and persistent. Pairs well with fish in creamy sauces, seafood, pasta, and lemon chicken. Serve at 7–8°C.
