The Joie Saffron SI is a 4-in-1 convertible car seat that grows with your child from birth through age 12. It covers four distinct modes in a single purchase: rearward-facing, forward-facing with harness, highback booster, and backless booster, accommodating children from 4 lb. up to 120 lb.

Safety is built into every layer of the design. The seat is tested to the newest FMVSS 213a and 213b standards. A 5-point harness secures children across their sturdiest body parts, and side impact protection (SIP) pods in the shell, removable insert, and cushioned headrest work together to absorb and redirect crash energy. The AutoClick magnetic chest clip automatically positions the harness for a proper fit every time.

Comfort features include a plush infant insert with knit fabric, a 3-position recline (adjustable in either rear-facing or forward-facing mode), and an integrated flip foot that enables the deep recline needed for rear-facing infants. The 10-position GrowTogether headrest and harness adjust simultaneously with a single button press, eliminating rethreading as your child grows.

Installation is straightforward in all modes. Push-button lower anchor (LATCH) attachments can be used for the entire rear-facing stage up to 40 lb., and the included LockTight belt tensioner holds the seat firmly against the vehicle seat to prevent sliding. Transitioning to backless booster requires only a one-hand pull. Two easy-clean cup holders and a fully removable, machine-washable seat cover round out the convenience features.
