Etchart Estate Malbec is a 100% Malbec red wine from Bodegas Etchart, Argentina's oldest and largest winery in the Salta region. The grapes are grown at approximately 5,700 feet of altitude in the Cafayate Valley, where abundant sunshine, cold nights, and arid conditions yield grapes with deep color, intense fruit character, and natural acidity. Bordeaux consultant Michel Rolland has collaborated with Bodegas Etchart since 1988, lending the wine its polish and refinement.

The wine displays a lively ruby color with aromas of red roses, lilac, Bing cherry, and blackberry, accented by notes of anise and exotic spice. On the palate it offers vibrant acidity, balanced fruit, and firm tannins leading to a long finish. The wine spends six months in French oak barrels and is best served at 58°F after 30 minutes of decanting. Pairs well with red meats and hard cheeses. ABV 13.5%.
