K Vintners Jack's Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from Jack's Vineyard in Walla Walla Valley, Washington, crafted by acclaimed winemaker Charles Smith. The vineyard was planted in 1999 on the flat floor of the Walla Walla Valley, a former riverbed with rocky, loamy soil mixed with cobbles, gravel, and sand. The low-vigor vines produce concentrated flavors unique to this terroir.

The wine is made using hand-picked grapes, natural yeast fermentation, and gentle pressing, then barrel-aged for 22 months on the lees in 58% new French oak puncheons. Charles Smith was named Winemaker of the Year by Wine Enthusiast (2014) and Food & Wine (2009), and K Vintners was recognized as Winery of the Year by Wine & Spirits magazine.

Tasting notes reveal an expressive nose of black plum, charcoal, pencil lead, and cold stone, followed by a multi-layered palate of pan grill, dried rose petals, and undergrowth.
