Buena Ventura Salted Alaska Pollock Fillets are wild-caught, boned, and skinless fillets cured with salt for preservation and bold flavor. Sourced from Alaskan waters, the fillets are fully cleaned with bones and skin removed, making them easy to prepare once rehydrated.

To prepare, soak one pound of salted fish in six cups of fresh water for eight hours in the refrigerator, changing the water three times. More frequent water changes will further reduce the salt content. After soaking, cook according to your preferred recipe — the mild, flaky pollock pairs well with soups, stews, and traditional bacalao-style dishes.
