To Kalon Vineyard Co. Eliza's Red Blend is a prestigious Napa Valley red wine sourced exclusively from the legendary To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, California. Named after Eliza Yount, one of Napa Valley's earliest pioneers and widow to the founder of Yountville, this wine honors a woman who once owned a coveted corner of the To Kalon estate now planted with Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Andy Erickson crafts this blend from grapes grown in the well-drained, gravelly soils of To Kalon, situated between the Vaca and Mayacamas mountain ranges where broad diurnal temperature shifts support exceptional flavor development.

The wine is composed of approximately 63% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Cabernet Franc, aged in 100% new French oak barrels from the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley. The Cabernet Franc contributes exotic spice notes, floral aromas, and an elegant airiness, while the Cabernet Sauvignon delivers weight, structure, and a deep, rich black fruit character. On the palate, expect aromas of cassis, dark cherry, plum compote, anise, violet, sweet tobacco, and sassafras with a long, complex finish underpinned by loam and iron.
