Albert Bichot Mâcon Chardonnay is a classic white Burgundy from the Mâconnais sub-region of Burgundy, France, produced by the renowned négociant Maison Albert Bichot, founded in 1831. Made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, this wine expresses the approachable, fruit-forward character typical of the Mâcon appellation.
The wine offers a pale golden color with fresh aromas of white peach, green apple, citrus zest, and subtle floral notes. On the palate it is clean and lively with refreshing acidity, delivering flavors of ripe stone fruit, pear, and a hint of mineral finish characteristic of the limestone soils of the Mâconnais. It is unoaked or lightly handled, preserving the grape's natural vibrancy.
This is an excellent everyday Chardonnay and a great value introduction to white Burgundy. It pairs well with seafood, shellfish, grilled chicken, light pasta dishes, and soft cheeses. Serve chilled at 10–12°C (50–54°F). Each bottle is 750ML; sold in cases of 6.
