Château Rolland-Maillet is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru red wine from Bordeaux, France, produced at the historic Rolland-Maillet estate on the border of Pomerol. The vineyard was established in the 1920s by the Michel Rolland family at a place called "Maillet" in the Saint-Émilion appellation, and today the estate spans approximately 3 hectares of clay-gravel soils.
The blend is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, harvested by hand from vines with an average age of 40 years. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel tanks and barrels, followed by aging in new oak barrels. The estate produces approximately 17,000 bottles annually, reflecting its boutique scale and commitment to precision viticulture.
The wine expresses bright ruby color with a rich red fruit nose, touches of vanilla, and hints of licorice. The palate offers fine tannins, good structure, and a complex bouquet characteristic of the great terroirs of Saint-Émilion. The estate holds ISO 14001 environmental management certification and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainable viticulture. This wine is distributed internationally, including in the United States, France, Belgium, Canada, China, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom.
