Craigellachie 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky and the first release in Craigellachie's Cask Finishing Collection. Distilled at the Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, Scotland, this whisky matures for approximately 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks before spending just over one year finishing in Bas-Armagnac casks sourced from the northernmost part of Gascony in southern France. The casks were specifically chosen from producers who, like Craigellachie, use traditional worm tub condensers in their distillation process. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and contains no added caramel coloring, preserving its natural character.

On the nose, the whisky presents bright and inviting aromas of baked apples, orange peel, and pear drop alongside vanilla custard and a subtle herbal undercurrent. The palate delivers notes of freshly baked apples dusted in cinnamon, caramel shortcake, pineapples in syrup, and summer bonfires that linger into the finish. The Bas-Armagnac cask finish lends a rounded, complementary layer to Craigellachie's characteristically robust and muscular spirit profile.
