Hubert Brochard Sancerre is a classic white wine from the prestigious Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley, France. Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the renowned flinty soils of Sancerre, this wine is produced by the Brochard family, who have been winemaking in the region for generations. The domaine's vineyards are situated across several prized hillside plots, lending complexity and typicity to the wine.
This Sancerre displays the hallmark characteristics of the appellation: a pale golden color with green hues, a vibrant and aromatic nose of citrus, white grapefruit, gooseberry, and fresh-cut grass, with a characteristic mineral, flinty undertone. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with lively acidity, medium body, and a clean, persistent finish. It is an excellent expression of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc at its most elegant and terroir-driven.
Pairs beautifully with oysters, fresh goat cheese (especially local Crottin de Chavignol), grilled fish, seafood, and light poultry dishes. Best served chilled at 8–10°C (46–50°F). Enjoy within 3–5 years of vintage for peak freshness, though well-stored bottles can develop gracefully for longer.
