The whiskey is first matured in a combination of ex-American bourbon casks and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks before receiving an extended finish in first-fill Moscatel wine casks sourced from Bodegas Quitapenas in the hills of southern Spain.

Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, this expression delivers the rich, oily, creamy mouthfeel characteristic of Redbreast's single pot still style. The nose offers deep aromas of stewed orchard fruits, dried apricots, honeycomb, brioche, ginger, and floral orange blossom. On the palate, ripe figs and sultana fruits are joined by classic pot still spice — cinnamon and fennel — balanced with Moscatel-derived sweetness, roasted hazelnut, and vanilla. The finish is long and warming, with notes of gingerbread, orange peel, and gentle oak tannins.
