Kujira Ryukyu is a single grain Japanese whisky distilled from 100% premium rice at the historic Masahiro Distillery in Okinawa, Japan. Founded in 1883, Masahiro is one of the oldest and largest distilleries in Okinawa, where the subtropical climate accelerates maturation and develops subtle fruity and botanical flavors with an intense, silky texture.

Matured for over 15 years in a combination of Sherry, Bourbon, and American White Oak casks, this whisky develops remarkable complexity. On the nose, it presents dried plums, candied fruits, mint, and chocolate aromas. The palate delivers sweet notes of chocolate, vanilla, and honey, complemented by spices, a slight smokiness, and toasty bread. The finish is remarkably smooth, with licorice and peppery textures developing into a clean, long-lasting close.

This whisky has earned Gold from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Silver from the International Wine & Spirit Competition. Bottled at 43% ABV.
