LaMonica's Frozen Pizza Dough is a commercial-grade pizza dough made by a Brooklyn, NY-based manufacturer with a family pizza-making tradition dating back to the 1960s. Each case contains 23 individually portioned dough balls, each weighing 30 oz, ideal for foodservice and high-volume home use.
When proofed and flattened, each dough ball yields an approximately 18-inch pizza crust with a puffy, golden exterior that is crispy at the edges and chewy in the center. Using a pizza press rather than rolling pin and flour produces a lighter, fluffier result. Once thawed, dough must be used within 36 hours.
LaMonica's operates five manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Italy, producing over 100 million pounds of pizza dough annually and supplying dough to Costco food courts and retail locations. This is the same dough used in Costco's own food court pizza program.
