Hayashi 24 Year Ryukyu Japanese Whisky is a premium aged spirit crafted at the Hayashi Distillery in Okinawa, Japan. Like all Hayashi expressions, it is made from long-grain indica rice and fermented with black koji, a naturally cultivated yeast whose unique microbial composition is found only on Okinawa island. The distillates are matured for 24 years in charred ex-bourbon barrels, producing a whisky of remarkable depth and character.

The consistently hot and humid island climate of Okinawa accelerates maturation, lending the spirit a complexity that far exceeds its already impressive age statement. The whisky is non-chill filtered with no artificial color added, preserving its natural integrity. On the nose, it opens with oolong tea and island tobacco. The palate reveals honeycomb and butterscotch notes in a quiet, refined finish.
