Domaine des Colombettes is a red wine produced by Cellier des Chartreux, a respected cooperative winery situated in the southern Rhône Valley of France. This red blend is crafted from the classic Southern Rhône varieties — Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre — sourced from the Lirac appellation, which lies just west of the famed Châteauneuf-du-Pape across the Rhône River.

The wine offers bold aromas of blackberry, wild strawberry, and plum, layered with savory notes of garrigue, crushed stone, lavender, and licorice. On the palate it delivers flavors of ripe black and red fruit complemented by spice and a touch of smoked meat, with a long, mineral-driven finish. The 2018 vintage received a Gold Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. This is an approachable yet characterful expression of the Southern Rhône that delivers quality at a strong value compared to neighboring Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
