Branch & Barrel 5-Year Colorado Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the flagship expression from Branch & Barrel Distilling, a Colorado craft distillery built on a commitment to grain-to-glass production. This award-winning straight bourbon has earned 17 of the distillery's 37 total competition awards, including Double Gold at the San Francisco International Spirits Competition (2022).

The mashbill is built on a high-corn base with a barley-supported grain bill, using corn sourced from the Wiggins dairy co-op and barley from Proximity Malt in Monte Vista, Colorado. Water comes from the distillery's own mineral-rich wells on the Colorado plains, ensuring every ingredient reflects true Colorado terroir. The spirit is aged a minimum of five years before bottling.

Tasting notes open with red hot candy, white cake, charred oak, and green apple on the nose. The palate delivers pound cake with cherry sauce, corn-driven sweetness, hazelnut, and a gentle touch of salt, with subtle clove and pipe tobacco emerging toward the back. The finish offers fondant-like sweetness, oak, and tobacco, fading into a clean, lightly charred close.
