Bibbiano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is the flagship single-vineyard red wine from Tenuta di Bibbiano, a 220-hectare historic estate located in the commune of Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany. The Gran Selezione designation — the highest tier within the Chianti Classico DOCG appellation — is reserved for wines produced from a single vineyard and aged for a minimum of 30 months, including at least three months in bottle.

This wine is crafted from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello clone) sourced from the estate's Vigna del Capannino vineyard. It delivers a multifaceted bouquet of dark cherry, graphite, dried Tuscan herbs, and subtle minerality, with a deeply flavored, admirably concentrated palate. Fine-grained tannins provide structure and backbone, while the finish is exceptionally long and pure. Alcohol is approximately 15% by volume.

Tenuta di Bibbiano has been making wine for centuries in the Chianti Classico zone and was long associated with the legendary Tuscan winemaker Giulio Gambelli.
