Alta Colina Downslope Red is a Rhône-style red blend produced at Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery, an estate winery in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles, California. Founded in 2003 by Bob and Lynn Tillman, Alta Colina specializes in Rhône varietals grown at high elevation on a 130-acre mountain estate — "Alta Colina" means "high hill" in Spanish.

The Downslope Red is crafted from grapes grown at the lowest-altitude sections of Alta Colina's steep hillside vineyards, where deeper, more fertile soils produce less-stressed vines. This terroir yields an approachable, ready-to-drink wine with flavors of dark cherries, red currants, dried cranberries, and fresh blueberries. The soft, balanced style makes it an excellent choice for everyday enjoyment and a wide range of food pairings.

Alta Colina has farmed organically since 2012 and is recognized as one of Paso Robles' premier estate producers. The winery's core program focuses on Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and other Rhône varieties that thrive in the region's warm days and cool nights. The Downslope Red represents the winery's "drink-now" expression, designed to showcase the approachable side of their estate fruit.
