Filey Bay STR Finish is a Yorkshire single malt whisky from Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, crafted entirely from 100% homegrown barley grown and distilled on the Yorkshire Coast of England. The spirit matures in Bourbon casks before being transferred for a finishing period in shaved, toasted, and re-charred (STR) red wine Barriques sourced from Rioja vineyards in Spain — a process that gives this whisky its distinctive character.

Tasting notes feature a light, floral, and fruity profile with notes of summer berries, vanilla ice cream, orange chocolate, and toasted oak. Bottled at 48% ABV in a 700ml bottle.

This expression has earned multiple international accolades, including a Gold medal and 95 points at the 2024 IWSC, Platinum (96 points) at the 2023 Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards, Gold at the 2023 Spirits Business Global World Whisky Masters, and Gold medals at the 2022 New Wizards and 2021 Spirits Business World Whisky Masters competitions.
