Château Laville Bertrou Grand Vin Rouge is a rich and intense red wine from the Minervois La Livinière appellation in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. Produced by the renowned winemaker Gérard Bertrand, who acquired the estate in 1997, this wine is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah grapes cultivated in one of the warmest appellations in France.
La Livinière earned its distinction as a Cru Communal within the Minervois AOC, a terroir recognized since Roman times when it was called "Cella Vinaria" (wine cellar). The estate produces wines that express the quintessence of this atypical terroir, known as the sun capital of the appellation. This Grand Vin Rouge features 15.5% alcohol by volume and pairs well with lamb, beef, veal, and pasta dishes. Contains sulfites. Sold in 750ML bottles.
