The Mosquito Magnet Patriot Plus (Model MM4200B) is a propane-powered CO2 mosquito trap that creates a defense zone of up to 1 acre around your home, yard, or business property. Using patented CounterFlow Technology, the trap converts propane into CO2 and releases a continuous plume of attractants — including carbon dioxide, heat, moisture, and optional scent attractants — that lure mosquitoes, black flies, midges, and no-see-ums directly into the machine's powerful vacuum. Insects are drawn into a rigid internal net where they dehydrate and die within 24 hours, effectively breaking the breeding cycle of the mosquito population in the treated area.

The trap begins working immediately upon startup and delivers noticeable results within 7 to 10 days, with significant population reduction typically observed within four weeks of continuous operation. It features a one-touch startup, a 50-foot power cord for flexible placement, and a rigid net that is 3x larger than the original Patriot model, allowing for fewer net changes between maintenance cycles. For best results, the unit should be positioned 30 to 40 feet away from people and placed between your outdoor living area and a known mosquito breeding site such as standing water or dense vegetation.

The Patriot Plus runs on a standard 20 lb. propane tank (not included), which typically lasts approximately 21 days of continuous operation. An attractant cartridge such as Octenol or R-Octenol (sold separately) is recommended to increase catch rates by up to 10 times. Replacement nets (Part #MM4200NETN) are available separately.
