Lake County, situated north of Napa Valley at high elevation, produces bold, fruit-forward wines with excellent structure, and this bottling showcases the region's character through a co-planted field blend tradition dating to the vineyard's old vine heritage.

The wine opens with aromas of maple and vanilla leading into fully ripe, jammy blackberry flavors on a full body. The chocolaty, rich midpalate is rounded out by red brambly fruit, with moderate tannins providing structure and enduring richness. The 2021 vintage earned 93 Points Gold at the Wine Challenge. Alcohol is approximately 14.5%. Best enjoyed through 2030.
