Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Reserve is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland, crafted using a technique pioneered by Glenfiddich's Malt Master. The whisky is aged in European oak sherry casks and new oak casks before being mellowed in the distillery's unique Solera Vat — a large oak tun inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal. The Solera Vat has never been fully emptied, and has been kept at least half full of maturing whiskies since 1998, creating a continuous layering of flavors over time. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), this 1-liter bottle delivers a whisky of exceptional depth and complexity.

On the nose, Glenfiddich 15 Year Old offers an intriguingly complex aroma of sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits. The palate is silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon, and ginger — full-bodied and bursting with flavor. The finish is satisfyingly rich with a lingering sweetness. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water, or with club soda to open up its flavors.
