Testarossa Winery's Tondré Grapefield Chardonnay is a single-vineyard white wine sourced exclusively from the Tondré Grapefield in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA of California's Central Coast. Grown by Joe and Penny Alarid at approximately 400 feet elevation on sandy, gravelly loam soils, the fruit is hand harvested and whole-cluster pressed before fermentation and aging in 100% French oak barrels. The wine is composed entirely of Clone 76 Chardonnay and is produced in limited quantities of roughly 13–14 barrels per vintage.

The wine opens with citrus and tropical aromas—tangerine, lemon zest, pineapple, passionfruit, and mango—leading to a seamless, textural palate with vibrant acidity and a persistent finish. Winemaker Bill Brosseau crafts the wine in a style that balances richness with freshness, and it has consistently earned critical scores in the 91–94 point range from publications including Wine Spectator, James Suckling, Antonio Galloni's Vinous, Wine Enthusiast, and Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. The wine carries 14.3% alcohol by volume and is best enjoyed now through 2034 depending on vintage. It is sold at Costco in cases of 12 bottles (750ml each).
