The Macallan Art is the Flower is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, Scotland, bottled at 50.4% ABV in a 700ml format. It is part of The Macallan's collaboration with the legacy of celebrated Scottish architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, drawing inspiration from his 1902 stained-glass panel "The Spirit of the Rose."

This expression is matured in sherry seasoned European oak casks, yielding a deep oak colour and a flavour profile that reflects Mackintosh's time in Europe. The nose offers notes of raisin, fig, cherry, almonds, orange peel, and treacle. On the palate, expect sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, apple, and a delicate wisp of tea leaf. The finish is long, sweet, rich, and full.

The bottle and exquisite gift pack take direct visual inspiration from "The Spirit of the Rose," and the pack contains a poetic excerpt from Mackintosh's 1902 lecture on Seemliness beginning "Art is the Flower – Life is the Green Leaf." This release celebrates the circularity of nature, life, and artistic legacy through the art of whisky making.
