Blood Oath Pact 12 is a limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted by Lux Row master distiller John Rempe. This annual release features a blend of 9-year and 12-year ryed bourbons, along with a 7-year ryed bourbon that was first finished in Montepulciano casks and then in Sangiovese casks — a first-ever double Italian wine cask finish for the Blood Oath series.

Montepulciano, a fruit-forward dry red wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy, imparts deep notes of ripe black cherry, leather, and spiced cocoa. Sangiovese, a savory dry Italian red wine from the Tuscany region, contributes ripe red fruit, dried herbs, and a hint of sun-kissed tomato leaves. The combination creates a complex and layered whiskey that opens with stone fruit and caramel balanced by vanilla, develops through cocoa, leather, and oak at the mid-palate, and finishes with a pleasant spice and black cherry note.

Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV), this limited release carries an SRP of $129.99 per 750mL bottle. Each bottle comes in a commemorative fire-branded wooden display box, with a burgundy-colored label featuring golden highlights as a nod to the two Italian red wines.
