Amistà Barbera Nizza DOCG is a premium Italian red wine produced from 100% Barbera grapes grown in the Bricco di Nizza subzone — considered the heart of the best growing area for the Nizza DOCG appellation in Piedmont, Italy. The wine undergoes approximately 12 months of aging primarily in large cask, with a portion aged in tonneaux and barrique, followed by an additional 6–8 months of bottle aging beyond what the appellation requires.

Deep ruby in color with complex aromas of blackberry, ripe red fruits, spices, and a balsamic note. On the palate the wine is intense, balanced, and full-bodied with velvety tannins, bright acidity, and a long, lingering finish. It has received consistently high praise from leading wine critics, including scores of 92–94 from James Suckling across multiple vintages, as well as recognition from Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and a Barbera Trophy from Falstaff. This is an elegant wine with excellent aging potential, well-suited to cellaring or drinking now alongside rich meats, pasta dishes, and aged cheeses.
