Kuleana Rum Works Nanea is a masterfully crafted blended rum inspired by the Hawaiian concept of "nanea" — a word meaning absorbing, fascinating, relaxed, and joyful. This 1-liter expression brings together five carefully selected aged rums from around the world into a harmonious, round, and balanced spirit.

The foundation is a molasses-based rum from Guatemala, distilled to 90–94% ABV and aged two years in Bourbon barrels. Layered in for depth are Kuleana's own Hawaiian Rum Agricole made from fresh sugarcane juice and aged 18 months in Cognac barrels, and a rich molasses-based rum from Venezuela aged 2–8 years in ex-Bourbon barrels. Two accent rums from Trinidad and El Salvador, aged 3–5 years and five years respectively in ex-Bourbon barrels, round out the blend with funky richness and mature oak character.

Tasting notes include light orange peel, caramel, vanilla, Bourbon, Oloroso sherry, dried mango, baking spices, and clover honey. Kuleana Rum Works is a Hawaii-based craft distillery dedicated to celebrating Hawaiian sugarcane culture through artisanal spirits.
