Domaine de Villargeau Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, mineral-driven white wine from the Côteaux du Giennois appellation in the Loire Valley of France, just north of the renowned Pouilly-Fumé region. The estate was founded in 1991 by the Thibault family on a historic stone farmstead in the micro-hamlet of Villargeau, where clay-limestone and silex-dominant soils impart the clean, flinty character that defines the appellation.

Second-generation vigneron Marc Thibault manages 23 hectares of south- and southwest-facing vineyards using natural farming methods as a member of Terra Vitis, avoiding pesticides and encouraging grass growth between vine rows. Grapes are fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks, preserving the bright aromatics and vibrant acidity that make this wine a compelling value alternative to neighboring Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre. The resulting wine is aromatic, fresh, and succulent with mineral tension characteristic of the Centre-Loire.
