Virginia Distillery Co.'s First Cut Cigar Blend is an American Single Malt whiskey crafted to pair beautifully with a fine cigar. Distilled at the company's distillery nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains of central Virginia, this expression is made from 100% malted barley and aged for a minimum of seven years.

The whiskey is matured in an imaginative selection of casks including Spanish Oak, Sherry, Port, STR, Chateau Palmer Cabernet, Armagnac, Cognac, and Fino casks. A whisper of smoke from Islay casks adds depth and intrigue to the final blend. The result is a complex and layered spirit bottled at 54% ABV (108 proof).

On the nose, aromas of red berries and leather give way to flavors of rich walnut and date cake with candied lemon peel, allspice, and clove. The finish delivers notes of dark chocolate and a subtle whiff of smoke, making it an ideal companion to a premium cigar.
