Lingua Franca Estate Pinot Noir is an Oregon Pinot Noir sourced from select parcels throughout the Lingua Franca Estate Vineyard in Willamette Valley's prestigious Eola-Amity Hills appellation. The wine opens with a heady scent of roses and red fruits, leading to a dense and richly expressive palate with a perfect balance of red and black fruits — dark plum, pomegranate, and raspberry — followed by nuances of wet stone and savory herbs in the lifted, lingering finish with a velvety texture.

The estate is dry farmed organically on Jory, Gelderman, and Nekia soils in the heart of the Eola-Amity Hills. Fruit is handpicked and sorted in the vineyard, then wild-yeast fermented in medium-sized concrete and stainless-steel tanks with 19% whole cluster fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is aged in a combination of 25% new and 75% old French oak barriques for 12 months, then an additional four months in tank prior to bottling. Alcohol content is 13.4%. This is a serious, versatile wine that pairs well with roast chicken, veal, lamb, or pork.
