Domaine Gaget Côte du Py is a single-vineyard Morgon from the Beaujolais region of France, crafted from 100% Gamay grapes grown using natural and organic farming practices. Morgon is one of the ten Beaujolais crus, and the Côte du Py is its most prestigious hillside site, known for producing wines of exceptional depth and structure compared to typical Beaujolais.

The wine opens with aromas of blackberry, red licorice, violet, mossy river stone, and iron. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, black cherry, tart unsweetened cranberry, cassis, black pepper, bramble, and violets evolve with air, backed by smooth tannins, medium-high acidity, and a medium to full body. The finish is long with good wet stone minerality and a refreshing tartness. This wine is properly tannic and structured with a firm core, offering richness and dense texture that rewards both immediate drinking and short-term cellaring.
