All three expressions share the same distinctive four-grain mashbill: 75% corn, 15% wheat, 7% rye, and 3% malted barley. What distinguishes Penelope from other sourced bourbons is its collaboration with French cooperage Tonnellerie Radoux, employing proprietary Oakscan technology — a near-infrared scanning system that measures polyphenol content in individual oak staves — to introduce precise French oak influence into each expression's finishing process.

The Four Grain opens with light caramel, vanilla, and soft grain sweetness, finishing clean and approachable. The Architect delivers sweet vanilla and crème brûlée on the nose, with creamy oak and baking spice on the palate and a smooth, lingering French oak finish.
