Alta Plata Malbec is a 100% Malbec from the Uco Valley appellation in Mendoza, Argentina, sold in a 750ML bottle. The Uco Valley, nestled in the high-altitude Andean foothills, is celebrated for producing wines of exceptional depth and terroir-driven character.

Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, then carefully sorted and destemmed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to maximize color extraction and preserve varietal vibrancy. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to soften acidity and enhance texture, followed by 12 months of aging in a combination of French and American oak barrels.

The wine presents a deep, vibrant purple color with aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, violets, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied with layers of dark cherry, blueberry, dark chocolate, and a touch of leather, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and smokiness from the oak. Tannins are well-structured and smooth, leading to a long, spiced finish. Alcohol by volume is 14.5%, with a pH of 3.5, acidity of 5.0 g/mL, and residual sugar of 2.5 g/L.
