DAOU Reserve Chardonnay Paso Robles 750ML

DAOU Reserve Chardonnay is a white wine from the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles, California, produced and bottled by DAOU Vineyards. Crafted by Winemaker Daniel Daou from a special selection of barrels drawn from superior vineyards planted to calcareous soils in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, this wine showcases the distinctive terroir of the Paso Robles appellation. It is sold in a 750ML bottle and contains sulfites. Alcohol content is 14.7% by volume.

The wine displays a light golden-straw color in the glass. Aromas of jasmine, honeysuckle, pineapple, and melon are deepened by notes of caramel and honey. Smooth textures flood the palate with flavors of tropical fruit, hazelnut, almond, and vanilla. The finish is beautifully rounded and lengthened by luscious, lingering acidity. Wine Enthusiast awarded this wine 91 points, noting rich and savory flavors of sea salt, peach, lemon cake, and hazelnut. The blend is 100% Chardonnay.
